Parsons Chicken and Fish

Hello Today we will be Reviewing  Parsons Chicken and Fish

Ruben:
Okay this is like real southern chicken it is so good! it blew my mind. We started off with a nice seasonal locally made apple soda that was very good i would definitely have that again. Then we had the  hushpuppies some cornmeal with a little cream cheese all wrapped in a delicious batter. The crunchy out side really complemented the corn on the inside. Then it was time for the main course Chicken. we all shared a whole chicken but we couldn't decide which one to get fried or grilled but he said we could get half and half so that was great. The chicken was so good. i preferred the grilled better then the fried, but the fried was still good. It also came with very good coleslaw, best i have ever had, and nice soft Texas toast which was also very good. And don't forget to try the yellow and red sauce it goes with the chicken so well, gives it a little spice. I liked the atmosphere of the place, very hipster and modern. The inside is small with probably around 6 tables and then there is a bar, but we did discover that there is a huge patio outside, but it's still too cold to eat outside, but looking forward to eating there when it's warm! The service was very good. our waiter was very nice and the food came out at a reasonable time. Overall i had a wonderful experience at parsons and i plan to go back soon!!!

Max:
So i have been here 2 other times and their fried chicken is really delicious and so flavorful. we got the skillet, which is a whole chicken, and you can pick half fried and half grilled. their grilled chicken is also pretty good. and the breading on the fried chicken is nice and crispy. the skillet also comes with coleslaw which is quite delectable and flavorful. and we got Texas toast with the meal too, which is really tasty and crispy, and also not the kind of toast you would have every day. their hush puppies are the best i have ever eaten, but that might be because i have only ever got hush puppies here. their butter beans are quite tasty in a nice southern sauce. oh and did i mention their apple sodas? they are really amazing! they're sorta like fizzy apple cider. if you go to their restrooms they have really cool wooden stall designs, and the restroom also has a nice fragrance of meyer's hand soap. but Parson's Chicken and Fish has great food and i will go back really soon!

Otto:
This is my third time to eat here, and I liked it better each time. I prefer the grilled chicken. I had never had Texas Toast before, and I didn't know what it was, but it turns out it is just big buttered toast. They have an "off menu" special on Tuesdays: Hot Nashville Chicken, although it's spicy so I probably wouldn't like it. But it would have been fun to try it. We forgot they had that special, so we'll have to go back on another Tuesday. I liked the atmosphere of it a lot. It's small and apparently is usually very crowded, but it was empty for us all three times. I guess we're just lucky.

Circle Sushi Bar & Grill

Hello, today we will be reviewing Circle Sushi Bar & Grill.

Max:
Ok so i have had some really good sushi in the past. but this... this was just sad. they were playing really bad lounge covers of pop and rock songs, which we didn't like, but at the same time it was extremely hilarious and weird (they played covers of stuff like Nirvana And The Police). their sushi was way too SPICY! and that's really saying something because i usually love spicy food. in fact, i have eaten a block of wasabi, but this was like the tip of your tongue on fire! i also noticed all of their sushi had the same SPICY!NESS! and the SPICY! sauce looked the same on the top. you see they use the same SPICY! sauce on all of their SPICY! meals, which is very boring. i had the Spicy Salmon and Spicy Tako. and no, not Taco. Tako is Octopus. and also they had some pretty cool wall art if you go downstairs, which was actually a "relatively" good thing about the restaurant.
the service was fine and our waitress even brought me non-Spicy California rolls when i felt sick after the EXTREME SPICY!NESS!!! of the Spicy Tako and Spicy Salmon. and yes their meals were so spicy that it made me feel sick. and even at one point, made me feel like i had to throw-up, but i didn't, luckily. by the way the Non-SPICY! California rolls felt like a cure. so, yeah, our waitress was very nice, and the atmosphere was Kinda Cool, But their food was just... ick, on taste and on SPICY!NESS! one more thing. their sushi was really pretty, as a matter of fact their sushi was the most beautiful sushi i have ever seen. but the taste and SPICY!NESS! were just not alright. not too be mean, but i would not go back.

Otto:
My chicken satay was fine, not amazing but not bad. The teriyaki sauce was better than some I've tried at some places, but still not the best I've tried. The miso soup was good but kind of cool in temperature. They used lots of stuff from Ikea to decorate, and that part was actually pretty good. At least in our experience, things looked better than they tasted.

Ruben:
Well i wouldn't say this place was terrible just in-between okay and bad. so i'll start with the pros. i liked the atmosphere very nice location and furniture kinda a modern look. also our waitress was very nice. there was also some very cool wall art down stairs by the bathroom. also the water came in mason jars so that was pretty cool. all the sushi was presented beautifully but it looked better than it tasted. cons: my spicy shrimp roll was okay a little too spicy for me and all the rolls had the same creamy sauce it was not that good and boring since it was on all the rolls. the california roll was okay nothing exciting just a average. also the rolls weren't wrapped tightly enough so literally some of my rolls fell apart when i took a bite or picked it up with my chop sticks. I'm sorry to say this but i do not think i would go back here but thats just the way it is. sometimes things are good but sometimes they're bad.

Sticky Rice Thai

Hello today we will be reviewing sticky rice thai

Ruben:
Okay i have been here several times and out of all the thai restaurants i have been to this is the best. all of sticky rices dishes are amazing. i know when you think of thai you probably think pad thai think again, sticky rice's food is like being in northern thai land from frog legs to dishes served out of coconuts this restaurant is extremely one of a kind. we started off with the northern thai susage it was very good, and nice andy spicy! next we had the Kow soy. which i usually get it's a spicy coconut curry with egg noodles then crispy noodles on top and then some onion and parsley. this dish is so good. it will blow your mind each ingredient complements itself so well. but I'm warning you, when i say spicy its spicy. we ordered the medium and i was practically crying. so make sure you don't order anything over medium. next we had some of the gang kua san-pa-rod which is a spicy shrimp curry served in a pineapple. that's right a pineapple it was so good the flavor of the pineapple in the curry tasted so good and the shrimp tasted very fresh. i liked this dish almost better than the Kow soy. to finish it off we had to have some mango sticky rice. the sticky rice is mixed with this coconut cream. it's super sweet and they bring out the sticky rice super hot it is so good. overall the service was pretty good our waitress was nice, in other reviews i have read the service has not been great but that was not my experience. i would vote this the best thai place in Chicago, and i plan on to keep going here.

Max:
This is seriously the best thai place i have ever been. this was my third time going there in 3 weeks.
i really love the authentic northern thai dishes. and also since it's northern thai it's really different than regular thai, but that's what makes it so good!!! the first time i went there i got the Coconut Green Curry Shrimp. and it was really good, with shrimp that had a tint of coconut taste, and pretty good coconut sauce. and it was also pretty cool because it was all in a big coconut. the second time i went i got the Rote Gang Kare Chicken which was the best thai meal i have ever tasted!!! it came with 4 pitas, Kare curry paste cooked in coconut milk, potato and onion. served with rote and curry rice. this time i went i got the Kua Kae. and it was good. with stir fried chicken, green beans baby corn, thai eggplant and roasted rice powder, with red chili paste. but the overall restaurant was Awesomely amazing and i will go back soon!

Otto:
The Northern Thai sausage was good, but it was kind of spicy. Both their sticky rice and normal rice are good. The chicken satay was one of the best I've tried, and I've tried many many chicken satays, since that's what I often get when we go for Thai food. I really liked the atmosphere there.

Glazed and Infused

Hello, today we will be reviewing Glazed and Infused.

Max:
As some of you may not know today is National Pączki Day, and Glazed and Infused sells those on National Pączki Day. so we ordered a Dozen Pączki to eat and each of us got our own Doughnut. Pączki are Polish Snacks Basically like doughnuts, but are often filled with creme. but anyway i need obviously need to talk about my opinions. so i got the Chocolate4 doughnut and it was a chocolate cake doughnut with chocolate icing and these tiny white pebbles that seemed to have pretzel inside. and it was pretty good for a Cake doughnut. although i prefer yeast doughnuts instead. the Pączki were really good. although the one with lemon creme filling was REEAALLY TART!! so i wouldn't recommend that one, but the one with Chocolate Filling Was Simply excellent. it was a yeast Pączki with a kind of a Chocolate-Custard Filling that was Great! i would also recommend the Raspberry one too. but the restaurant was definitely the wright place to get a doughnut and i will try it again soon!

Ruben:
i love glazed and infused it was so good. first of all let me say the service is great. what we didn't know is that glazed and infused is hooked up to a restaurant so it's really just a couple tables and then a tiny counter where they have all the doughnut flavors on display. i got the raspberry glazed doughnut it was pretty good i liked the size of it cause its not like a small doughnut it's big and it's filling. the flavor of it was very good. the only thing i didn't like about it was the frosting was a little melty so i would like it if the glaze was a little more crusty. also since it was national Pączki Day we had to get Pączkis i had the vanilla Pączki it was amazing the cream in side was so good tasted like the cream inside french cream puffs. over all i think this was a good doughnut place and i would go back.

Otto:
The Pączki were amazing, and the old fashioned doughnut I got was really good too. We have tried to go here two times before, but they were closed because they close when they sell out of doughnuts, or by 2 pm. So we thought it would be really crowded, but it was actually pretty empty. Everyone there was really really nice.
